Duncan Taylor Single Cask Collection Royal Brackla 13 Year Old 2011 #93900137

Duncan Taylor Single Cask Collection Royal Brackla 13 Year Old is a limited-edition Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky distilled at Royal Brackla in June 2011 and independently bottled by Duncan Taylor in March 2025. Matured for 13 years in a single Sherry cask, Cask #93900137, it was bottled at a robust 54.2% ABV, with only 258 bottles produced. The single-cask maturation combines Royal Brackla's naturally elegant and fruity character with the richer dried-fruit, sweet spice and oak influence associated with Sherry maturation.

Food Pairing: Aged cheddar, roasted nuts, charcuterie, roast pork, fruit cake, dark chocolate or orange-based desserts.

Tasting Notes: Rich and concentrated, combining fruity Highland malt character with Sherry-driven sweetness, dried fruit, warming spice and mature oak.

Nose: Rich and delicate, with fruit-led malt character supported by Sherry sweetness and gentle oak.

Palate: Balanced and full-bodied with rich fruit, malt sweetness, Sherry influence and warming spice.

Finish: Long and elegant with lingering fruit, oak and gentle spice.

Serve: Enjoy neat at room temperature initially. A few drops of water can be added gradually to open the aromas and soften the 54.2% strength.
