About the Estate Driopi Reserve Agiorgitiko
Crafted by renowned winemaker Yiannis Tselepos at Estate Driopi in the famed Nemea region of the Peloponnese, Greece, Driopi Reserve Agiorgitiko is a benchmark expression of the region's noble red variety. Sourced from dry-farmed, low-yielding old vines located in the sub-region of Koutsi—known for its altitude, limestone-rich soils, and cool microclimate—this wine undergoes long skin maceration and ages for 12 months in French oak barrels followed by extended bottle maturation.
Food Pairing: Roasted leg of lamb with herbs, grilled prime ribeye, moussaka, venison stew, wild mushroom risotto, aged cheeses like Graviera or Cheddar.
