A mature dry Riesling with citrus, yellow stone fruit, subtle floral tones and a pronounced slate-driven mineral character. Firm acidity gives the palate energy and definition, while bottle age adds complexity and a long, focused finish.

Food Pairing: Pair with grilled trout, roast chicken, pork tenderloin, shellfish, creamy seafood dishes, or lightly spiced Asian cuisine.

While the nose is subtle here, suggesting faint whiffs of crushed slate and lime, exuberantly concentrated grapefruit and tangerine flavors await on the palate. Medium bodied and dry, yet silky and penetrating, it finishes long with invigorating strikes of minerals and grapefruit bitters. It's a lovely wine already but likely to improve through 2030.

What a crazy Mosel riesling! Not a natural wine, but tons of plum and dried-citrus character, then plenty of tannins (from skin-fermentation) on the rich and rather creamy palate. Bone-dry finish. A joint venture between Dr. Loosen and Telmo Rodriguez. Drink or hold.
