Dedicated to eco-conscious practices and minimal intervention, Jo Perry champions organically grown, dry-farmed old vines planted in the warm, sandy loam soils of the Swan Valley—one of Australia's oldest wine regions. The 'Yokel' series pays homage to the local region and its heritage vines. Hand-harvested at optimal ripeness, the Verdelho fruit undergoes gentle basket pressing followed by wild, ambient yeast fermentation in stainless steel and neutral vessels, with a portion spending brief skin contact to build texture and aromatic volume. Bottled unfined and unfiltered with absolute minimal sulfur additions, this natural white wine captures an energetic, raw, and texturally engaging expression of Verdelho brimming with sun-ripened tropical fruit and crisp, zesty acidity.
