Intense aromas of fruit. Reminds of black plums, ripe strawberries, blueberries, and blackberries. The oak aging adds vanilla, cedar, and cocoa
undertones.

Wide palate with defined flavors and good character. Red and black fruits such as plums and wild berries can be appreciated as it flows with a mineral aftertaste that builds up with its texture. Rich and balanced tannic structure with firm and refreshing acidity. Long-lasting and oily finish that reminds of red fruit marmalade with hints of oak.

DON made its debut with the 2005 vintage and has since undergone radical changes, especially since winemaker Matías Ciciani took charge of it in 2013. This version, always made with malbec from organic vineyards in the El Cepillo zone in the southern Uco Valley, has a greater emphasis on fruity freshness and less oak than in the past. This vintage shows a strong herbal side combined with delicious red fruits. Fermented in 400-liter barrels, 90% of them used, it was aged for 18 months in those same containers. The texture is firm, and the feeling of nerve and freshness is permanent.
