Domaine Remi Jobard Les Narvaux 2022

Crafted in the famed Côte de Beaune region of Burgundy, France, Domaine Rémi Jobard Meursault 'Les Narvaux' 2022 is a benchmark, highly sought-after white Chardonnay produced by organic master Rémi Jobard. Perched high on the Meursault hillside above the Premier Crus Genevrières and Poruzots, the legendary Les Narvaux lieu-dit features thin, rocky clay-limestone soils directly over fissured limestone bedrock. This elevated, wind-exposed position yields a Meursault renowned for its searing, chiseled mineral drive and intense purity. Rémi Jobard applies his signature meticulous, non-interventional approach: certified organic farming, long pneumatic pressing, native yeast fermentation, and extended aging in neutral, large Austrian oak Stockinger casks (avoiding heavy toast and excess new oak). In the ripe yet beautifully balanced 2022 vintage, 'Les Narvaux' delivers an extraordinary balance of concentrated stone fruit weight and electric mineral tension, routinely rivaling top Premier Crus.

Food Pairing: Pan-seared sea scallops, butter-poached lobster, roasted turbot, grilled halibut, roast chicken with black truffle butter, crab cakes, and artisanal French cheeses like Comté, Époisses, or Delice de Bourgogne.
