Domaine Remi Jobard En Luraule 2022

Crafted in the famed Côte de Beaune region of Burgundy, France, Domaine Rémi Jobard Meursault 'En Luraule' 2022 is an exceptional, highly precise white Chardonnay produced by organic pioneer Rémi Jobard. Located just below the famed Premier Cru Goutte d'Or, the single village lieu-dit En Luraule benefits from deep clay-limestone soils rich in active chalk and Bajocian limestone gravel. Rémi Jobard is renowned for his uncompromising commitment to viticultural excellence and non-interventional winemaking: practicing certified organic farming with long, gentle pneumatic pressings and aging in un-toasted, large Austrian oak Stockinger casks. In the radiant, concentration-rich 2022 vintage, this approach yields a Meursault defined not by heavy oak or buttery notes, but by intense linear mineral tension, pure orchard fruit weight, and mouthwatering salinity. Aged on its fine lees for up to 18 months, 'En Luraule' stands as one of the finest single-vineyard village expressions in all of Meursault.

Food Pairing: Pan-seared sea scallops with lemon-herb butter, roasted lobster tail, grilled halibut, roast chicken with black truffle butter, crab cakes, and artisanal French cheeses like Comté, Époisses, or Delice de Bourgogne.
