About the Domaine Nico Soeur et Freres Grand Pere : Pinot Noir 2023
Domaine Nico Soeur et Frères Grand Père Pinot Noir 2023 is a refined, high-altitude single-vineyard red wine produced by Laura Catena in the Uco Valley. Sourced from a two-hectare parcel planted in 1993 in Villa Bastías, the vines grow in stony alluvial soils rich in limestone, yielding a Pinot Noir with great tension, structure, and minerality. On the nose, it offers vibrant aromatics of fresh red berries, dark cherry, dried herbs, pepper, and subtle forest floor notes. The palate is focused, succulent, and well-balanced, presenting energetic red fruit flavors backed by fine-grained, firm tannins and a bright, saline-driven finish.
Food Pairing: Pairs wonderfully with roasted duck breast, pan-seared pork loin, grilled salmon, mushroom risotto, and mild semi-hard cheeses.
