About the Domaine Marc Roy Gevrey-Chambertin Cuvee Alexandrine
A richly expressive village-level Burgundy from old vines planted around the domaine in Gevrey-Chambertin. Expect deep ruby color with aromas of dark cherry, violet, and earthy undergrowth. On the palate it offers silky tannins, layered red and black fruit, subtle spice, and a long, mineral-driven finish characteristic of the Gevrey terroir.
Food Pairing: Roasted duck breast, beef bourguignon, braised short ribs, mushroom risotto, aged hard cheeses such as Comte or Epoisses
