Domaine Leroy Vosne-Romanee Aux Genaivrieres

Crafted in the famed Côte de Nuits region of Burgundy, France, Domaine Leroy Vosne-Romanée 'Aux Genaivrières' is an extraordinary, legendary red Pinot Noir produced by iconic vigneronne Lalou Bize-Leroy. Widely regarded as one of the single greatest winemakers in history, Mme Leroy manages her vineyards with strict, non-negotiable biodynamic practices, ultra-low yields through radical pruning, and no mechanical trimming of the vine canopy. Sourced from the prestigious village lieu-dit Aux Genaivrières in Vosne-Romanée—situated on deep clay-limestone soils rich in active chalk—this wine delivers an astonishing level of aromatic complexity, fruit density, and profound mineral depth that rivals many Grand Crus. Hand-harvested with painstaking sorting berry-by-berry, the pristine whole clusters undergo native yeast fermentation in large oak vats without destemming. The wine matures gracefully in 100% new custom French oak barrels before being bottled unfined and unfiltered, offering an ethereal, hauntingly complex expression of Vosne-Romanée that stands as a holy grail for fine wine collectors worldwide.

Food Pairing: Serve on its own as an extraordinary, once-in-a-lifetime collector's tasting experience, or pair with roast duck breast with cherry reduction, pan-seared rack of lamb, roasted venison tenderloin, wild boar ragù, wild mushroom risotto, and artisanal French cheeses like Époisses or aged Comté.
