Domaine Hubert Lamy Puligny-Montrachet Les Tremblots 2022

Crafted in the famed Côte de Beaune region of Burgundy, France, Domaine Hubert Lamy Puligny-Montrachet 'Les Tremblots' 2022 is a masterclass in white Chardonnay tension and terroir transparency produced by visionary vigneron Olivier Lamy. Sourced from the single village lieu-dit Les Tremblots, located at the southern end of Puligny-Montrachet near Chassagne-Montrachet, the vineyard boasts shallow, highly calcareous clay-limestone soils over solid limestone bedrock. Renowned for his meticulous vineyard care, high-density vine plantings, and precision-driven cellar practices, Olivier Lamy captures the textbook signature of Puligny-Montrachet—delivering razor-sharp acidity, floral elegance, and intense chalky minerality. Hand-harvested with strict sorting in the ripe yet beautifully balanced 2022 vintage, the grapes underwent gentle pneumatic pressing and native yeast fermentation. The wine matured on fine lees without battonage (stirring) in large neutral French oak demi-muids (300L to 600L barrels) to preserve absolute purity, resulting in a white Burgundy of electric tension and profound length.

Food Pairing: Pan-seared sea scallops, butter-poached lobster, grilled turbot, roast chicken with black truffle butter, crab cakes, and artisanal French cheeses like Comté, Époisses, or aged goat cheese.
