Domaine Fabrice Vigot Gevrey-Chambertin

Crafted in the famed Côte de Nuits region of Burgundy, France, Domaine Fabrice Vigot Gevrey-Chambertin is an exceptional, handcrafted red Pinot Noir produced by artisan vigneron Fabrice Vigot. Based in Vosne-Romanée, Vigot applies an organic and deeply respectful approach to viticulture across his boutique holdings, cultivating old Pinot Noir vines with minimal intervention to allow pure terroir expression. Sourced from choice village parcels in Gevrey-Chambertin planted on deep clay-limestone soils rich in Bajocian limestone gravel, the wine captures the quintessential signature of the appellation—balancing muscular, dark-fruited depth with velvety texture and refined aromatic grace. Hand-harvested with strict sorting, the grapes undergo gentle vinification using indigenous yeasts with partial whole-cluster inclusion. The wine matures gracefully in fine French oak barrels (a judicious mix of new and neutral oak) before being bottled with minimal sulfur, preserving its vibrant mineral tension, pure fruit core, and superb aging potential.

Food Pairing: Roast duck breast with cherry reduction, pan-seared rack of lamb, beef tenderloin, roasted pheasant, wild mushroom risotto, coq au vin, and artisanal French cheeses such as Époisses, Comté, or Delice de Bourgogne.
