Domaine Duroche Gevrey Chambertin Pierre et Marianne 2022

Crafted in the famed Côte de Nuits region of Burgundy, France, Domaine Duroché Gevrey-Chambertin 'Cuvée Pierre et Marianne' 2022 is an extraordinary, highly exclusive red Pinot Noir produced by master vigneron Pierre Duroché. Named in honor of Pierre and his wife Marianne, this rare special-selection cuvée represents a personal tribute to the estate's heritage, blending old Pinot Noir vines sourced from the domaine's prized village parcels in Gevrey-Chambertin. Growing in deep clay-limestone soils rich in limestone gravel, the vines benefit from Pierre’s rigorous organic and natural farming philosophy. In the outstanding 2022 vintage, hand-sorted fruit was vinified gently with indigenous yeasts and minimal intervention. Aged in neutral French oak barrels to accentuate pure fruit texture and terroir transparency, the wine was bottled unfined and unfiltered without mechanical pumps, delivering an ethereal, silky expression of Gevrey-Chambertin with remarkable elegance and aging potential.

Food Pairing: Serve on its own as a fine wine tasting experience, or pair with roast duck breast with cherry reduction, pan-seared rack of lamb, roasted venison, wild mushroom risotto, coq au vin, and artisanal French cheeses like Époisses or aged Comté.
