Domaine Duroche Clos de Vougeot Grand Cru

Crafted in the famed Côte de Nuits region of Burgundy, France, Domaine Duroché Clos de Vougeot Grand Cru is an extraordinary, ultra-rare red Pinot Noir produced by master vigneron Pierre Duroché. While Domaine Duroché is historically anchored in Gevrey-Chambertin, Pierre’s micro-holding in the historic, walled Clos de Vougeot Grand Cru vineyard represents one of the most exciting micro-cuvées in the domaine's legendary portfolio. Sourced from mature vines planted in clay-limestone soils rich in limestone gravel and active chalk, the terroir imparts a grand, aristocratic structure coupled with Pierre Duroché’s signature featherlight precision and aromatic purity. Practicing organic and natural viticulture with meticulous hand work in the vineyard, the grapes are harvested at optimal maturity with rigorous sorting. Vinification occurs gently with indigenous yeasts and minimal intervention, followed by aging in neutral French oak barrels to ensure raw terroir clarity. Bottled unfined and unfiltered, this trophy wine offers a regal synthesis of power, velvety concentration, and profound cellaring capacity.

Food Pairing: Serve on its own as an extraordinary collector's tasting experience, or pair with roast duck breast with cherry reduction, pan-seared rack of lamb, roasted venison tenderloin, wild boar ragù, wild mushroom risotto, and artisanal French cheeses like Époisses or aged Comté.
