Domaine Duroche Chambolle-Musigny Premier Cru Les Sentiers 2022

Crafted in the famed Côte de Nuits region of Burgundy, France, Domaine Duroché Chambolle-Musigny 1er Cru 'Les Sentiers' 2022 is an extraordinary, highly coveted red Pinot Noir produced by master vigneron Pierre Duroché. Situated on the northern boundary of Chambolle-Musigny directly adjacent to the legendary Grand Cru Bonnes-Mares, the Les Sentiers Premier Cru vineyard benefits from a unique terroir of deep, red clay-limestone soils strewn with small limestone rocks. This enviable position gives the wine a striking combination of Chambolle's signature floral elegance and Bonnes-Mares' rich, muscular dark fruit structure. Continuing his family's legacy, Pierre Duroché farms these old Pinot Noir vines organically with painstaking precision. In the solar yet beautifully balanced 2022 vintage, hand-harvested fruit underwent gentle whole-berry vinification with native yeasts and minimal intervention. Maturation took place in neutral French oak barrels (with negligible new oak) to preserve aromatic purity before being bottled unfined and unfiltered, creating a wine of breathtaking depth, velvety concentration, and age-worthy grace.

Food Pairing: Serve on its own as an extraordinary fine wine tasting experience, or pair with roast duck breast with cherry reduction, pan-seared rack of lamb, roasted venison tenderloin, wild boar ragù, wild mushroom risotto, and artisanal French cheeses like Époisses or aged Comté.
