Domaine Duroche Chambolle-Musigny Premier Cru Aux Echanges 2022

Crafted in the famed Côte de Nuits region of Burgundy, France, Domaine Duroché Chambolle-Musigny 1er Cru 'Aux Échanges' 2022 is an extraordinary, highly sought-after red Pinot Noir produced by master vigneron Pierre Duroché. Based in Gevrey-Chambertin, Domaine Duroché has ascended into the absolute upper echelon of elite Burgundy producers, celebrated worldwide for crafting wines of ethereal purity, featherlight precision, and intense aromatic perfume. Sourced from the rare, tiny 0.16-hectare estate plot within the Aux Échanges Premier Cru vineyard in Chambolle-Musigny, the mature vines grow in thin clay-limestone soils over fissured limestone bedrock. Pierre Duroché practices minimal-intervention viticulture with meticulous canopy work. In the solar yet fresh 2022 vintage, the hand-harvested grapes underwent gentle vinification with native yeasts and minimal whole cluster inclusion to accentuate terroir transparency. The wine matured in old neutral French oak barrels (with negligible new oak) and was bottled unfined and unfiltered without pumps, preserving its delicate lace-like structure and mineral drive.

Food Pairing: Serve on its own as an extraordinary fine wine tasting experience, or pair with roast duck breast with cranberry glaze, pan-seared rack of lamb, roasted pheasant, wild mushroom risotto, coq au vin, and artisanal soft French cheeses like Époisses or Delice de Bourgogne.
