The 2021 Domaine du Pégau Châteauneuf-du-Pape Cuvée Réservée Blanc is an elegant, richly textured, and highly expressive French white wine crafted from low-yielding, handpicked estate grapes. It pours a brilliant, clear straw-gold colour in the glass, lifting with a complex and aromatic bouquet of white peach, juicy pear, and acacia blossoms, harmoniously layered with notes of exotic citrus peel and fresh honey. On the palate, this medium-to-full-bodied wine is smooth, round, and fruit-forward, delivering a luscious, slightly waxy mouthfeel balanced beautifully by a vibrant, food-friendly acidity. Fermented without malolactic conversion in stainless steel to maximize its energetic purity, it transitions into a long, satisfying finish that leaves a clean, lingering trail of flinty minerality and anise spice.
