Crafted in the famed Beaujolais region of France, Domaine de Bel-Air Fleurie 'Granits Roses' is an exceptional, floral-driven Cru Beaujolais produced by skilled vigneron Jean-Marc Lafont. Offered here in a impressive 1.5L Magnum format—ideal for cellaring and large celebrations—this cuvée showcases the pinnacle of the Fleurie appellation. The vines, averaging over 40 years of age, are planted on steep, south-facing hillside slopes composed of pink granite (granits roses), which grant the wine its signature perfume, silkiness, and striking mineral energy. Practicing sustainable viticulture with meticulous canopy management, Lafont hand-harvests low-yielding Gamay grapes at peak maturity. The fruit undergoes partial semi-carbonic maceration in temperature-controlled tanks, followed by aging on fine lees in large neutral oak casks and foudres to preserve pristine red fruit purity, vibrant natural acidity, and elegant structural tension.
