Domaine Arnoux Lachaux Vosne Romanee 2021

Crafted in the famed Côte de Nuits region of Burgundy, France, Domaine Arnoux-Lachaux Vosne-Romanée 2021 is an extraordinarily rare, benchmark red Pinot Noir produced by visionary vigneron Charles Lachaux. Globally celebrated as one of Burgundy's most iconic and sought-after cult producers, Charles Lachaux has redefined the estate through ultra-high-density planting, regenerative agriculture, and high-canopy arching (tressage). Sourced from choice village-level parcels across Vosne-Romanée—including historic old-vine plots in lieux-dits like Les Aux Réas, Les Barreaux, and Les Saussilles—the deep clay-limestone soils grant the wine its hallmark velvety depth, aristocratic spice, and refined structural precision. In the cooler, highly selective 2021 vintage, hand-harvested grapes were vinified using 100% whole-cluster fermentation with native yeasts. The wine matured in neutral oak casks and large Stockinger foudres to preserve pristine fruit vitality and terroir transparency without heavy oak imprint, before being bottled unfined and unfiltered.

Food Pairing: Serve on its own as an exceptional cult wine tasting experience, or pair with roast duck breast with cherry reduction, rack of lamb, pan-seared veal chops, roasted pheasant, wild mushroom risotto, and artisanal French cheeses like Époisses or Comté.
