Domaine Arnoux Lachaux Chambolle-Musigny 2021

Crafted in the famed Côte de Nuits region of Burgundy, France, Domaine Arnoux-Lachaux Chambolle-Musigny 2021 is an extraordinarily rare, iconic red Pinot Noir produced by visionary winemaker Charles Lachaux. Globally celebrated as one of Burgundy's most dynamic and sought-after cult vignerons, Charles Lachaux has revolutionized the estate through regenerative agriculture, high-canopy arching (tressage), high-density planting, and uncompromising organic and biodynamic practices. Sourced from choice village-level plots in Chambolle-Musigny—including historic old vines in lieux-dits like Les Fremières and Les Condemennes—the thin limestone-clay soils lend the wine its signature lace-like silkiness and aromatic perfume. In the challenging 2021 vintage, painstaking hand-sorting, 100% whole-cluster fermentation, and minimal extraction were employed using native yeasts. Maturation took place in neutral oak casks and Stockinger foudres to preserve pristine fruit vitality and limestone minerality without oak imprint, before being bottled unfined and unfiltered.

Food Pairing: Serve on its own as an exceptional cult wine tasting experience, or pair with roast duck breast with cherry reduction, rack of lamb, pan-seared veal, wild mushroom risotto, and artisanal French cheeses like Époisses or Comté.
