Crafted in the cool-climate Coal River Valley of Tasmania, Australia, Domaine A 'Petit a' Cabernet Blend is an exceptional, classic Bordeaux-style red wine produced by legendary Tasmanian estate Domaine A. Founded in 1973 and now helmed by the historic Moorilla winemaking team, Domaine A is world-renowned for producing long-lived, cool-climate Cabernets that rival the world's finest expressions. 'Petit a' serves as the vibrant, earlier-drinking sibling to the flagship Domaine A Cabernet Sauvignon. Sourced from mature, cool-climate vines planted on gentle south-facing slopes composed of mudstone and gravelly loam over clay, the blend is led by Cabernet Sauvignon, complemented by Merlot, Cabernet Franc, and Petit Verdot. Hand-harvested with strict sorting, the grapes undergo traditional small-batch fermentation followed by 24 to 36 months of patient maturation in French oak barriques.
