Located just below the iconic Grand Cru sites of Vosne-Romanée, the La Colombière lieu-dit features old, deep-rooted vines planted in rich clay-limestone soils with excellent natural drainage. Fabrice Vigot practices organic viticulture with deep respect for soil biodiversity, keeping yields low to concentrate varietal purity. The hand-harvested grapes are rigorously sorted and fermented using native yeasts, followed by aging in fine French oak barrels (a modest percentage new) for 14 to 18 months.
