Doc Swinson's Golden Hour Rye Whiskey is an Exploratory Cask release built from MGP rye whiskeys matured for more than seven years in #4 char American white oak before additional maturation in Doc Swinson's ex-rum cask solera and finishing in Port casks. Bottled at 98 proof, the combination layers the natural spice of rye with rich fruit, sugar-cane sweetness and complex wine-cask character.

Food Pairing: Pair with glazed pork, smoked duck, barbecue ribs, aged cheddar, charcuterie, berry-based desserts or dark chocolate.

Tasting Notes: Rich and fruit-forward, combining banana bread, berry jam, plum fruit leather and crumble-like sweetness with rye spice and the layered influence of rum and Port casks.
