Diplomatico Reserva Exclusiva Rum is an award-winning, globally celebrated Venezuelan dark sipping rum that stands as a benchmark for rich, sweet, and complex cane spirits. Crafted by Destilerías Unidas S.A. (DUSA) at the foot of the Andes Mountains, this flagship expression is a masterful blend of heavy pot still distillates (80%) and lighter column and batch kettle distillates (20%), utilizing high-quality sugar cane honeys alongside molasses. The rum is aged for up to twelve years in small, hand-selected ex-bourbon and ex-malt whiskey white oak casks. This patient maturation process under tropical conditions creates an exceptionally smooth, decadent, and full-bodied spirit that boasts an exquisite balance of dark caramel, rich baking spices, and dense tropical fruit notes.

TASTING NOTES - A brilliant, deep amber and orange-tinged copper color with a full, velvety, and luxuriously viscous body that coats the palate.
