Dewar's 32 Year Old Double Double 375ml

Dewar's 32 Year Old Double Double is an exquisite, ultra-premium blended Scotch whisky crafted by Master Blender Stephanie Macleod using the brand's meticulous four-stage "Double Double" aging process. First, single malts and single grain whiskies are aged separately for at least 32 years. Next, the malts are blended together and rested, while the grains are blended and rested. In the third stage, the malt and grain blends are married together and rested once more. Finally, this expertly crafted blend undergoes a finishing period in exceptional Pedro Ximénez (PX) sherry casks. This incredibly demanding process results in a rich, deeply complex, and silky-smooth whisky characterized by intense notes of dark treacle, rich fruitcake, and decadent chocolate.

Food Pairing: Rich fruitcake, dark chocolate truffles, sticky toffee pudding, mature blue cheeses like Stilton or Roquefort, or roasted duck with a dark berry or plum reduction.

Tasting Notes : Deep, dark mahogany in appearance with an exceptionally viscous, rich, and velvety mouthfeel.

Nose : Intensely rich and decadent, bursting with aromas of dark treacle toffee, ripe peaches, dark chocolate, and heavy dried fruits like raisins and figs.

Palate : Luscious, sweet, and full-bodied, delivering complex layers of dark molasses, dense fruitcake, roasted nuts, vanilla, and the distinct, syrupy sweetness characteristic of Pedro Ximénez sherry casks.

Finish : Exceptionally long, sweet, and silky, leaving a lingering, warming impression of dark chocolate, dried dark fruits, and gentle oak spice.
