About the Champagne Deutz Blanc de Blancs Brut
Crafted in the heart of Aÿ, France, Champagne Deutz Blanc de Blancs Brut is an exquisite, ultra-refined prestige sparkling wine produced by one of Champagne’s most historic and revered houses, founded in 1838. Made exclusively from 100% Chardonnay sourced from prime Grand Cru and Premier Cru vineyards across the Côte des Blancs—including legendary villages such as Avize, Le Mesnil-sur-Oger, Chouilly, and Cramant—this cuvée represents the pinnacle of elegance and chalky terroir expression. Following gentle pressing of the noble Chardonnay grapes, the juice undergoes temperature-controlled primary fermentation in stainless steel tanks to safeguard pristine fruit aromatics and lively acidity. The wine is then aged on its lees in Deutz’s deep, subterranean chalk cellars for a minimum of four to five years, allowing it to develop complex autolytic characteristics, a silky texture, and delicate, persistent effervescence before receiving a judiciously light dosage.
Food Pairing: Fresh oysters on the half shell, caviar on blinis, pan-seared sea scallops, butter-poached lobster, sashimi, goat cheese crostini, and delicate white fish with lemon-butter sauce.
