Demuerte Black Magnum 1.5L Magnum

Crafted in the Yecla DO region of Southeastern Spain, Demuerte Black Magnum is a powerful, strikingly presented red wine produced by Winery On Creations. Spearheaded by winemaker Pablo Cortés and designer Karel Eissner, Winery On creates boutique wines that combine modern enological precision with iconic visual art. The wine is sourced from old-vine Monastrell (Garnacha Tintorera / Mourvèdre) planted in high-altitude, limestone-rich soils under the extreme Mediterranean-continental climate of Yecla. Sourced from dry-farmed, low-yielding bush vines harvested entirely by hand, the grapes undergo cold maceration before temperature-controlled fermentation in stainless steel tanks. The wine matures for 12 to 14 months in new French oak barriques to build rich textural weight, integrating its brooding dark fruit intensity with opulent vanilla and baking spice notes. Bottled in an eye-catching 1.5L Magnum format adorned with the estate’s signature velvet-textured skull label, this large-format bottling slow-ages gracefully, making it an extraordinary centerpiece for dinner parties, gift-giving, and cellar collections.

Food Pairing: Grilled ribeye steak, slow-braised beef short ribs, roasted leg of lamb, venison stew, wild boar ragù, and aged sharp cheeses like Manchego or sharp Cheddar.
