About the Delas Domaine des Tourettes Hermitage 2018 750ml
96 Points - Wine Enthusiast
Coming from three sites of the Hermitage (including the cru Les Bessards, the flagship of the estate), this syrah reveals obvious veins of crushed granite and tar that enhance rich and opulent flavors of blackcurrant and licorice jam. Although the tannins are ripe, this young grilled and spicy wine culminates in peppery notes of cloves, dark chocolate and espresso. It is better not to open it before 2023, and it should evolve until 2035 at the very least. A selection for the cellar. Note - 96. (Anna Lee C. Iijima, Wine Enthusiast, May 1, 2021)
