Crafted in Axocopan, Puebla, Mexico, Del Maguey Vida Puebla is an artisanal single-village mezcal produced by local mezcalero families under the guidance of Del Maguey. Expanding the producer's footprint beyond Oaxaca, this expression is made from 100% estate-grown Espadín agave cultivated in the mineral-dense volcanic soils surrounding the Popocatépetl volcano. The mature piñas are slow-roasted in traditional underground conical stone pits fueled by oak and local wood, crushed using a horse-drawn stone tahona wheel, and open-fermented in wooden vats with natural wild airborne yeasts. Double-distilled in traditional copper pot stills, Vida Puebla delivers a vibrant, approachable, and fruit-forward profile that bridges traditional sipping culture with high-end cocktail versatility.
