Finca Decero Remolinos Vineyard Syrah 2021 is a highly precise, elegant, and aromatically complex high-altitude red wine sourced exclusively from the single-vineyard Remolinos Vineyard in Alto Agrelo. Named after the "remolinos" (tiny whirlwinds) that weave through the vines to provide a natural cooling effect, this Syrah thrives in sandy, calcareous soils at an elevation of 3,500 feet. The 2021 vintage highlights a cooler growing season, yielding a wine of immense freshness and varietal typicity rather than jammy weight. On the nose, it offers an inviting bouquet of wild blackberries, dark cherries, and lavender, beautifully accented by classic notes of cracked black pepper, savory dried herbs, and a subtle hint of smoked meat.
