About the Finca Decero Mini Ediciones Petit Verdot Remolinos Vineyard 2021 750ml
The fine expression of each of the Decero Mini Ediciones wines is a result of a multitude of decisions made with constant consideration of our environment. The potential of Bordeaux varieties in Agrelo having been established, we specifically chose clones from Bordeaux (Petit Verdot and Cabernet Franc) and from South Western France (Tannat). These vines were planted on the lowest vigour soils of our Remolinos Vineyard. They are drip irrigated with glacial melt water from the Andes, cluster thinned to 1-2 clusters per shoot and undergo leaf plucking during the summer to optimise the intensity, ripeness and balance of the final clusters. Each vine’s final yield is less than a bottle of wine. All the grapes undergo cluster and berry selection before constant tasting and selection during maturation

The nose needs a few minutes to open up. When it does, it offers a basket of berries that marks the character of this red. The wine's vigorous palate delivers sour cherry flavors that mix with dark fruit. Gripping tannins and excellent acidity provide support.
