Drinks by the Dram The Japanese Whisky Tasting Set 5 x 30ml

Drinks by the Dram The Japanese Whisky Tasting Set is a curated collection designed to explore the diversity and craftsmanship of Japanese whisky through five individual 30ml samples. Presented as a tasting experience rather than a single expression, the set offers whisky enthusiasts an opportunity to compare different Japanese styles and flavour profiles side by side, making it equally suited to guided tastings, exploration or gifting.

Food Pairing: Pair the tasting experience with sushi, grilled yakitori, smoked salmon, aged cheese, toasted nuts or dark chocolate, allowing the different whisky styles within the collection to complement a range of savoury and sweet flavours.

Tasting Notes: A varied Japanese whisky tasting experience that can move between delicate fruit and malt sweetness, vanilla and honeyed notes, warming spice, oak and richer whisky character depending on the individual dram.

Nose: A varied aromatic profile across the collection, with notes that may include orchard fruit, malt, vanilla, honey, gentle florals and oak.

Palate: Diverse and layered across the five samples, ranging from soft malt and fruit sweetness to caramel, vanilla, warming spice and more pronounced oak character.

Finish: Varied across the individual whiskies, with lingering combinations of malt sweetness, fruit, gentle spice and oak.
