About the Darroze 1985 Armagnac
Darroze 1985 Armagnac is a vintage French Armagnac selected and bottled by the Darroze family. Darroze's vintage-focused approach preserves the individual identity of specific estates and vintages rather than blending different properties together. Because several distinct Darroze 1985 estate bottlings exist, the exact estate and appellation for this release should be confirmed against the Alberta SKU before being assigned.
Food Pairing: Duck confit, foie gras, aged Comté, prune tart, quince paste, gingerbread, toasted walnuts, crème brûlée, and dark chocolate.

Palate: Rich and rounded with mature fruit, warming spice, nuts and developed oak character.
Finish: Long and persistent, with lingering dried fruit, spice, nuts and mature oak.
