Pouring an opaque purple-ruby hue, it greets the senses with a classic, expressive bouquet of wild blackberries, Zante currants, and cherry pipe tobacco, gracefully interwoven with nuances of baking spice, slate, dark cacao, and a hint of forest floor. On the palate, this full-bodied red is remarkably plush and mouth-filling, balancing a concentrated core of blueberry compote, black raspberry, and cassis with a lively vein of natural acidity. Matured carefully in French oak, its substantial structure is framed by fine-grained, polished tannins that carry the rich layers of dark fruit effortlessly into a long, persistent, and elegant finish accented by subtle notes of truffle and sweet cherry.
