Dalmore Select Edition 2009 700Ml

The Dalmore Select Edition 2009 15 Year Old is a distinguished Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky showcasing the character of a carefully selected 2009 vintage. Released in 2024 as part of The Dalmore's prestigious Select Editions collection, this exceptional expression was initially matured in American white oak ex-Bourbon barrels before being enhanced by hand-selected Matusalem Sherry casks and Graham's 10 Year Old Tawny Port pipes. Bottled at 48.9% ABV with natural colour and without chill filtration, it offers a sophisticated balance of rich fruit, elegant sweetness and warming oak spice.

Food Pairing: Beautifully complements dark chocolate truffles, roasted figs, aged Gouda, caramelized walnuts and desserts featuring cherries or orange zest. Its rich fruit character also pairs elegantly with roasted duck and savoury dishes featuring plum reductions.

Tasting Notes: A richly layered Highland single malt featuring dark orchard fruits, honeyed sweetness, vibrant citrus and delicate spice. The influence of Sherry and Tawny Port casks creates a harmonious combination of ripe cherries, figs, cacao and warming oak.

Nose: Aromas of Manuka honey, dark plum, cracked black pepper and delicate hints of clove.

Palate: Morello cherries and dates unfold alongside candied Seville orange, fresh figs and subtle cacao.

Finish: Rich plum lingers with moist ginger cake, roasted chestnuts and gentle wood spice.
