Crafted in the high-altitude, sun-drenched slopes of Southern Piedmont, Italy, Gancia '36 Mesi' Alta Langa DOCG Metodo Classico is a luxurious, long-aged traditional-method sparkling wine from Casa Gancia—the historic house that pioneered Italian sparkling wine in 1865. Sourced from strictly classified high-elevation vineyards (above 250 meters) planted in limestone-and-clay-rich marl soils, the vines benefit from cool mountain nights that preserve razor-sharp acidity and intense varietal expression. A classical cuvée dominated by Pinot Nero for structure, depth, and red fruit complexity, harmonious with Chardonnay for freshness and floral elegance, the hand-picked grapes undergo delicate pressing before initial fermentation in temperature-controlled vats.
