About the Culmina Family Estate Hypothesis 2019
Culmina Family Estate Hypothesis 2019 is an opulent, refined, and classically structured flagship Bordeaux-style red blend produced by Culmina Family Estate Winery. Sourced exclusively from estate vineyards on the Arise Bench along the Golden Mile Bench in British Columbia, the grapes are hand-harvested and aged for 16 months in French oak barrels (31% new). The nose displays complex aromatics of black cherries, cedar bark, leather, and cocoa nibs interwoven with subtle notes of sage and warming eucalyptus. On the rich and full-bodied palate, concentrated wild red fruits, black currant, cloves, and licorice are seamlessly held together by finely structured, silky tannins and a vibrant line of natural acidity that carries into a long, persistent, and harmonious finish.
Food Pairing: Pairs wonderfully with prime ribeye steak, roasted duck breast, braised short ribs, truffle risotto, or aged clothbound cheddar cheese.
