Chateau La Croix des Pins Les Dessous des Dentelles

Crafted in the Southern Rhône Valley of France, Château La Croix des Pins Gigondas 'Les Dessous des Dentelles' is an organic red wine sourced from terraces sitting directly below the dramatic limestone jagged peaks of the Dentelles de Montmirail. Committed to organic viticulture and environmental preservation, Château La Croix des Pins farms its terraced vineyards with meticulous care, benefiting from stony clay-limestone soils and the cooling mountain breezes that flow off the Dentelles. Dominated by old-vine Grenache for lush fruit depth and warmth, complemented by Syrah and Mourvèdre for deep color, structure, and spicy complexity, the grapes are hand-harvested at peak maturity. Fermentation occurs with indigenous yeasts in temperature-controlled vats, followed by careful aging in traditional oak foudres and concrete tanks to allow the wine to mature gracefully while preserving its vibrant aromatic expression and distinctive terroir-driven minerality.

Food Pairing: Herb-crusted rack of lamb, braised beef short ribs, grilled ribeye steak, roasted venison, duck breast with plum glaze, wild mushroom stew, and aged cheeses like Comté or Tomme de Savoie.
