Cristom Jessie Vineyard Pinot Noir 2021 is a complex, high-elevation Oregon red wine crafted by Cristom Vineyards. Sourced from the steeply sloping, east-facing Jessie Vineyard in the Eola-Amity Hills—planted on shallow volcanic basalt soils—it undergoes traditional fermentation with 52% whole clusters and native yeasts before aging for 18 months in French oak barrels (38% new). The wine opens with expressive aromas of ripe wild raspberries, pomegranate, violets, tea leaves, and baking spices. On the palate, it is medium-bodied and beautifully structured, combining vivid red currant and dark cherry flavors with bright acidity, dusty tannins, and a long, savory finish.
Food Pairing: Pairs beautifully with pan-seared duck breast, roasted rack of lamb, wild mushroom risotto, grilled salmon, or an artisanal selection of aged cheeses.
