Craigellachie 13 Year Old is the defiant and unapologetically old-school flagship single malt from the heart of Speyside. Defying the typical light and fruity expectations of its region, Craigellachie relies on traditional oil-fired maltings and vintage worm tub condensers to produce a heavy, oily, and distinctly robust spirit. Matured in a combination of ex-bourbon and ex-sherry casks, this 13-year-old expression beautifully juxtaposes its thick, savory, and slightly sulfurous character against a vibrant backdrop of sweet tropical fruits and fiery spice.

Food Pairing: This muscular, waxy whisky pairs brilliantly with robust, fatty dishes like crispy pork belly, grilled ribeye steak, or rich duck confit. It also holds up exceptionally well alongside strong, pungent cheeses like Roquefort or a heavily aged Gouda.

TASTING NOTES - A bright, pale straw gold. The texture is distinctly thick, oily, and heavily mouth-coating with an impressive physical weight.

NOSE - Robust and deeply aromatic, opening with sweet notes of baked apples, vanilla fudge, and fresh pineapple, underscored by a unique, savory backdrop of sulfur, cordite, and smoky flint.
