Tenuta Orsumella Corte Rinieri Chianti Classico Riserva

Crafted in the historic heart of Chianti Classico in San Casciano in Val di Pesa, Tuscany, Tenuta Orsumella 'Corte Rinieri' Chianti Classico Riserva is an elegant, single-vineyard Tuscan red produced by the Rincione family. Sourced from the estate's prized 'Corte Rinieri' parcel situated at 300 meters above sea level, the 100% Sangiovese vines thrive in alberese (limestone) and galestro (rocky schist) soils, benefiting from warm diurnal temperature fluctuations that encourage optimal phenolic ripeness while retaining vibrant natural acidity. Harvested by hand at peak maturity, the grapes undergo strict sorting followed by temperature-controlled stainless steel fermentation with extended skin contact. The wine is aged for 20 to 24 months in French oak tonneaux and barriques, followed by prolonged maturation in the bottle. Corte Rinieri expresses the classic nobility of high-tier Sangiovese, combining intense dark red fruit aromatics with structured power, savory earthiness, and exceptional longevity.

Food Pairing: Florentine steak (Bistecca alla Fiorentina), braised beef short ribs, wild boar ragù over pappardelle, roasted rack of lamb, wild mushroom risotto, and aged Pecorino Toscano cheese.
