About the Copperworks Tequila Cask American Single Malt R37
This release was a collaboration with Copperworks' friends at Arette Tequila. This release started as their Five Malt recipe that was matured for 28 months in a new American Oak cask with a #3 char. It was transferred into an Arette Tequila cask to finish for just over 10 months.
NOSE
Aromas of menthol, cherry-vanilla, and a small bit of chalk.
PALATE
Red Vines and grapefruit juice dominate, with sweetgrass emerging through the rich and caramelly whiskey body.
FINISH
Ends with grapefruit and sour apple.
