About the Domaine La Colliere Cuvee Oubliee Rasteau 1.5L Magnum
Crafted in the Southern Rhône Valley of France, Domaine La Collière 'Cuvée Oubliée' Rasteau in a 1.5L Magnum format is a profound, old-vine Southern Rhône red produced by winemaker Georges Perrot in collaboration with renowned winemaking consultant Philippe Cambie. Sourced from century-old vines planted on the blue clay and gravel terraces of Rasteau, this cuvée is dominated by Grenache (typically 90-95%) alongside a touch of Syrah. The name Cuvée Oubliée ("Forgotten Cuvée") pays homage to traditional, unhurried winemaking methods, where extended tank aging allows the wine to develop immense depth without oak influence. Bottled in a magnificent 1.5L Magnum, this large-format bottle slows micro-oxygenation, allowing the wine to age with exceptional grace and longevity.
Food Pairing: Roasted rack of lamb with rosemary, braised beef short ribs, wild boar ragù, grilled ribeye steak, duck confit, rich game stews, and aged hard cheeses like Comté or Gouda.
