Caskshare Collective Series Agitator AG.19.05 Peated Swedish Single Malt Whisky

Caskshare Collective Series Agitator AG.19.05 is a distinctive peated Swedish Single Malt Whisky distilled at Agitator Whiskymakare and independently bottled by Caskshare. Part of the Collective Series collaboration with Spanish artist Pink Morro, this limited single-cask release was matured in a first-fill ex-Sauternes French oak cask and bottled at a powerful 58.3% ABV. Produced using Agitator's high-reflux distillation approach and peated malt specified at 40 PPM, it combines the elegance of Swedish single malt with delicate honeyed wine sweetness, creamy texture, ripe orchard fruits and balanced peat smoke. The bottle features colourful artwork from Pink Morro's M011 collection.

Food Pairing: Beautifully complements smoked salmon, grilled prawns, roasted pork, aged Gouda and honey-glazed chicken. Its sweet Sauternes influence also pairs well with caramelized pears, pineapple desserts, smoked almonds and creamy blue cheese.

Tasting Notes: An expressive balance of creamy sweetness, soft peat smoke, honeyed fruit and elegant oak spice. Butterscotch, candied fruits and tropical notes develop alongside a gently savoury maritime character and a smooth, rich mouthfeel.

Nose: Creamy butter, vanilla and delicate sweet peat smoke emerge with a subtle touch of salinity. Gentle honeyed sweetness and soft fruit aromas add depth.

Palate: Smooth and richly textured, with creamy butterscotch, honey and sweet peat smoke. Candied fruit, pineapple and ripe pear unfold alongside gentle black pepper and balanced oak spice.

Finish: Long and lingering, with honeyed peat smoke, candied sugar and soft fruit sweetness gradually giving way to warming pepper and refined oak.
