Col d'Orcia Brunello Di Montalcino 2021 is a classic, organically grown expression of Sangiovese crafted by the historic Marone Cinzano family in Sant'Angelo in Colle. Vinified in shallow stainless steel tanks and aged for three years in large Slavonian and Allier oak barrels, it displays a radiant ruby red hue. The complex nose delivers aromas of dark cherry, pomegranate, wild raspberry, black pepper, and dried Mediterranean herbs, intertwined with subtle hints of tobacco and fine leather. On the palate, it is broad, structured, and powerful yet remarkably elegant, framing concentrated red and dark fruit flavors with lively acidity, chalky fine-grained tannins, and a long, savory, mineral-tinged finish.
