Produced at the Domaine de Chez Maillard in the Single Estate tradition of the Single Estate Cognac house Domaine Leyrat, this XO Hors d'Age is an exceptional single-estate cognac from the Fins Bois cru. Distilled exclusively from Ugni Blanc grapes grown, fermented, distilled, aged, and bottled entirely on the estate premises in the Charente region of France, this release showcases old stock matured for decades in Limousin oak casks. The unique microclimate and chalky terroir of the estate grant this cognac remarkable elegance and finesse, delivering complex layers of dried fruit, candied citrus, acacia honey, pastry spice, and rich oak rancio.

Food Pairing: Aged Comte cheese, dark chocolate tarts, crème brûlée, roasted figs with honey, or enjoyed alongside a fine cigar.

Tasting Notes: Deep mahogany with brilliant old-gold and amber reflexes, displaying rich body and heavy, slow-moving legs along the glass.
