Laurichesse Le Chai de Mon Pere Fut 300 Grande Champagne Cognac is an exceptionally mature single-cask expression from Maison Laurichesse's Le Chai de Mon Pere collection. Distilled by Guy Laurichesse in the 1970s using the family's 12-hectolitre still at Verrieres, this rare Grande Champagne Cognac spent decades developing in Cask 300 before being selected by his son Olivier. Bottled at its natural cask strength of 49% ABV without reduction or added caramel, Fût 300 yielded just 140 bottles. Its concentrated profile combines dried and candied fruit with chocolate, oak spice and mature tannins before a remarkably persistent tropical-fruit finish.

Food Pairing: Aged Comte, roasted duck, dried figs, candied apricots, toasted walnuts, dark chocolate, fruit cake, and mature hard cheeses.

Tasting Notes: Rich and concentrated with dried and candied red fruit, chocolate, oak spice and mature tannins, balanced by an elegant fruit-driven character.

Nose: Chocolate, oak spice, dried plums, figs, dates and red raisins.

Palate: Rich and textured with dried and candied red fruit, figs, prunes, chocolate, spice and firm oak tannins.

Finish: Long and persistent with mango and apricot.
