Laurichesse Le Chai de Mon Pere Fut 104 Cognac

Laurichesse Le Chai de Mon Pere Fut 104 Cognac is an exceptionally mature single-cask Grande Champagne Cognac from Maison Laurichesse's Le Chai de Mon Pere collection, formerly known as Hommage. Distilled by Guy Laurichesse during the 1970s using the family's 12-hectolitre still in Verrieres, this rare eau-de-vie was selected by his son Olivier and bottled directly from Cask 104 without reduction or added caramel. Bottled at a natural strength of 47.4% ABV, only 392 bottles were produced, showcasing a mature, deeply woody profile of nuts, sandalwood, tobacco, cedar and roasted coffee.

Food Pairing: Aged Comte, roasted duck, smoked meats, dried figs, toasted walnuts, dark chocolate, coffee desserts, and mature hard cheeses.

Tasting Notes: Amber with golden highlights, displaying a mature, suave and concentrated profile built around wood, nuts, tobacco, cedar and roasted coffee.

Nose: Woody notes, nuts and sandalwood.

Palate: Tobacco, cedar, oak and coffee with a smooth texture and excellent persistence.

Finish: Long and persistent with lingering cocoa bean and roasted coffee.
