About the Le Blanche de Christian Drouin
Le Blanche de Christian Drouin is an unaged eau-de-vie de cidre crafted in Normandy, France, by the renowned Calvados producer Maison Christian Drouin. Made from the triple distillation of fermented cider produced from over thirty varieties of traditional Norman cider apples, this crystal-clear spirit retains the vibrant, pure aromatic essence of fresh orchards. It delivers a uniquely crisp, fruity, and elegant profile without any oak influence.
Food Pairing: Fresh oysters, cured meats, apple tart, goat cheese, smoked salmon, or lemon sorbet.
Tasting Notes : Crystal clear with a light, crisp, and silky mouthfeel that offers smooth warmth and vibrant fruit intensity.
Nose : Intense and fresh aromas of crisp green apples, ripe cider apples, pear blossom, fresh grass, and subtle floral undertones.
Palate : Crisp and vibrant on the palate, bursting with fresh apple flavor, soft orchard fruits, subtle spices, and a delicate mineral crispness.
Finish : Clean, dry, and refreshing with lingering notes of sweet-tart apple skin and light fruit spice.
Serve : Serve chilled, neat in a tulip glass, on the rocks, or as a sophisticated base in premium cocktails.
