About the Domaine Coche Dury Meursault Les Chevalieres 2012
Crafted in the famed Côte de Beaune region of Burgundy, France, Domaine Coche-Dury Meursault 'Les Chevalières' 2012 is a legendary, world-class expression of Chardonnay from one of Meursault’s premier lieu-dit sites. Produced by the iconic Jean-François Coche and his son Raphaël, this rare wine comes from old vines planted in high-elevation, stony limestone and clay soils. The 2012 vintage in Burgundy produced low yields of exceptionally concentrated, perfectly balanced fruit. Vinified with Coche-Dury’s legendary precision, extended lees stirring, and maturation in fine French oak barrels, 'Les Chevalières' delivers the estate's signature matchstick reduction, razor-sharp tension, and incredible longevity.
Food Pairing: Pan-seared sea scallops, butter-poached lobster tail, roasted turbot in beurre blanc, wild mushroom risotto, and aged Comté cheese.
